This Privacy Policy explains how LendBug LLC (“LendBug,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information through www.lendbug.com and our online application at apply.lendbug.com (together, the “Site”). LendBug provides financing to businesses for commercial purposes.

This policy is part of, and subject to, our Terms of Use, including its limitation of liability. By using the Site or giving us personal information, you acknowledge this policy as in effect when you do so.

• Information about owners and guarantors: name, home address, date of birth, Social Security number, ownership percentage, phone number, and email address.

• Credit and verification information we obtain, with your authorization, from credit bureaus, identity and bank-verification services, and public records.
• Your electronic signature and the consents you give, with the date and time you gave them.
• Technical information collected automatically when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the site that referred you.

How we use information

• To review your application, verify identity and information, underwrite, and decide whether and on what terms to provide financing.
• To prepare, administer, and service any agreement you enter into with us, including collecting amounts owed under it.
• To communicate with you about your application and account, and to respond to your questions.
• Where you have consented, to send you information and offers about our products by email, phone, or text.
• To detect and prevent fraud, protect the security of the Site and our business, and comply with law and legal process.
• To operate, analyze, and improve the Site.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed for the purposes above:

• With service providers who work on our behalf, such as credit bureaus, identity and bank-verification services, document and e-signature providers, hosting and technology providers, and collection agencies. They may use the information only to perform services for us.
• With our legal, accounting, and financial advisers, auditors, and parties that provide or evaluate our funding, under duties of confidentiality.

Text messages and mobile information

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third party. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.

We may still contact you about your application, your account, or an agreement with us.

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to comply with our legal, regulatory, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Age

The Site and our services are intended for people who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

Users outside the United States

The Site is operated in the United States. If you use it from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your information in the United States.
